"Cash, baby, you're scaring the shit out of these Hoods! They're trying to bug out!"
Lionel Starkweather

Time 2 Die is a bonus scene in Manhunt, unlocked by achieving at least 3 stars in Wrong Side of the Tracks, Trained to Kill, Border Patrol, Key Personnel, and Deliverance. It takes place in a unique area within the Hoods Turf unlike seen in the three main levels featuring the Hoods (Born Again, Doorway to Hell, and Road to Ruin)

Mission[]

James Earl Cash arrives at the Maverley and Sons warehouse, armed with a Blackjack, as Lional Starkweather informs him the Hoods are trying to run, so he must kill them before the van arrives to pick them up. Cash must kill all the Hoods in the alleyway, buildings and rooftops as well as inside the warehouse, once Cash has a Crowbar to bust open the lock and gain a Chainsaw alongside a few Painkillers within the warehouse itself.

All the Hood Hunters must be dead within 10 minutes. Then Cash heads towards a gate to leave.

Trivia[]

  • There is a total of 11 Hunters in this scene: 4 in the alleyways, 4 on rooftops, and 3 more inside the warehouse.
  • There is a hidden Save point hit and some Painkillers behind the gate where Cash enters, but mods are required to get there.

    Hood holding a hammer

  • The Hammer was cut from this scene.
  • Unlike the other bonus and explaining its original map, this scene was originally intended for the main storyline, taking place after Road to Ruin, and before White Trash, this is proven by its unique filename (weasel rather than bonus4) and original Starkweather audio, objectives and music.
    • The presence of the Crowbar being technically required to finish (it is needed to access the warehouse) and the van were most likely integrated into Road to Ruin due to this level's removal.
  • If the player uses the hidden save point hit even after killing all the Hoods, upon death or loading the game, the time will restart to 10 minutes. Also, if the player was equipped with the Crowbar, it will be replaced with a Blackjack. Still, other weapons will remain in Cash's inventory.
  • One of the garbage bags is placed under a fire escape, which can only be reached via trainer or Oob Glitch.
  • The background music of this level is notably similar to the Friday the 13th horror franchise featuring Jason Voorhees.
  • If you kill a Hunter near the edge of the rooftops but they still fall to their deaths, you will hear a rare dialogue play where the Hunters will scream.
  • By modifying “LEVELS” (PS2) or “levels” (PC) and replacing this scene with any story scene (1-20), the player will be able to activate cheats in it and saves when completing the scene. If saved after completing the scene, when the player tries to load it from the menu, the game crashes. When activating the Fully equipped cheat, the player will receive a Plastic Bag, a Blackjack and a Brick. When the player starts this scene without cheats, Cash will have a Blackjack and a Can, but if the player enters any cheat except Fully equipped, then the player will start with only a Blackjack. If replaced with any scene other than Deliverance, the Chainsaw sound effect will not be heard except during executions. This is because Chainsaw sound effect is only included in the music files in Deliverance, Time 2 Die and COM_TOWE (PS2). If replaced with any scene other than Trained to Kill, Cash and the Hoods won’t be able to jump from rooftops. If replaced with Trained to Kill, only Cash will be able to jump from rooftops. If replaced with scene 1-13, Starkweather can be heard commenting when the player is about to execute a Hunter, executes a Hunter, kills a Hunter, spotted, and sometimes when the scene starts.
