Not much is known about them except that they are mentally disturbed inmates that spend their time roaming around the Dixmor Hospital. They seem to be failed Pickman Bridge experiments. Some are heard saying biblical phrases, while others keep asking for their head to be fixed. They appear in the missions Awakening and Release Therapy. In the beta, the Legion were meant to appear in Domestic Disturbance. Their weapons of choice are the Light Handgun, the Heavy Handgun, the Assault Rifle and the Sub-Machine Gun.
Beta/Trivia
- The Legion originally played a big role in Domestic Disturbance. Danny had to kill three Project Scientists, and the Project Scientists sent out the Legion to patrol the streets. They originally wore brown coats and masks with crosses on their backs.
- Six voice actors are credited for the Legion, but only four voices are actually used/left in the game files. The voices by Geoffrey Arend and Brian Avers are left completely removed.
- The "sandwich" member's dialogue is assigned to a Dixmor Inmate instead of a Legion member. The dialogue is only used in Awakening and not in Release Therapy.
